Travel Day

Thank you for your prayers! After an uneventful day of travel it is good to be at Village of Hope. It is a peaceful evening as we all get settled in to our rooms. The air is cool, filled with the fragrance of flowers, and in the background we here the familiar sounds of dogs barking.

We had our usual layover in Dallas where we all had a leisurely lunch. Now the choices for lunch have become somewhat of a joke -- some like fried food while others prefer leafy greens. But this trip a few team members decided to add another category. Can you guess who had crocodile for lunch??

Tomorrow we will tour the grounds, meet the families, and prayer for the ministry. In the afternoon the guys will get started on their projects and some of us will spend time with the kids here at VOH.
